The first part of this is written at work… damn, today is a freaking boring day… the whole day I did only one task… make name tags for the people going for the convention soon… all 400++ of them… damn it lah… the whole morning was spent printing the names… the afternoon, cutting them to size and slotting them into sleeves…waste of a day lah…
But I haven’t really been doing much at work so this is a welcomed change… but let it be the only one… I want to slack abit…. I can plenty many money working plenty little…haha
2 days ago, was my birthday… and I spent it outside shopping for my birthday present… yes, it is the one day I allow myself to spent a fair amount of money without feeling as guilty as I would… sunshine plaza is the place I spent my birthday with Joanne buying overpriced good imported from Japan… if a phone strap costing $18 is not overpriced, I dunno what is… I brought for myself a MSN-O6S SINANJU gundam kit to make at home as well as a gundam T-shirt [yes, I brought a shirt for myself… very rare]the lady with me was more doing a shopping trip for her sister then shopping for herself, though she did buy something for herself… damn the KKnM shop having a sale on the day and it was damn packed…walking around and getting what I want was so damn hard… adding on the fact that I have this huge box with the gundam in it to carry/protect around with me… damn, even getting to the counter to pay was hard… but I guess it was worth it… too her, thanks for spending a day with me… thanks for the gift
Now, on to the 8 hour process of making the MSN-O6S SINANJU… well, it was not 8 hours in one go, it was 4 hours on sat night, 4 hours on Sunday morning… I started at 2100 and it took me and hour++ to make just the body, another hour to make both hands and head, 30mins to make both shoulders and one freaking hour to make just one leg… after that one hour on the leg, it was 0100 in the morning and I gave up and went to sleep, if I were to carry on, the sky might be bright when I’m done… just to note, the leg has 4 layers of plastic and has 5 joints in which to bend and 2 boosters that can bend outwards to show the effect using them…. This is true for both legs… and the waist has the central area and 6 flaps around it, each about 10 pieces to make…
Day 2 in making and 2nd leg and waist were done in about an hour half and back pack another hour… with that done, the “gundam” is done… all that’s left are the weapons, a beam rifle, 2 beat axe, 2 beam saber and a big shield all done within about 30++ mins… that completed MSN-O6S SINANJU is damn cool and big, towering over my XXXG-01W Wing Gundam “Ver.Ka” by almost half… well worth the time taken to make the beauty…
I guess that’s all I can say about my birthday…
