APMEC is over and i'm back at work which was supposed to end today but now is pushed to [hopefully] friday... the pass 5 days were busy as hell but now i have time to sit back and relax to think about what happened over these few days... the new friends i met and the enlightenment i had...
19th feb... APMEC day 1
i woke up at 5.45 to get really for my boss [mom's friend] to pick me at 6.30 to reach NUS at 7... along the way its so damn sleepy and i wanna sleep half the time but somehow can't... i arrived in the office to get ready for the day ahead... i was to man counter 4 for the people from thailand, UK, USA, UAE and taiwan to sign in for the event... it may seem like very little countries but thailand has 50++ people with very long and similer looking names that i must look up for and hand them their name tags... damn hard to look for one strange name in a pile of many many equally strange names...
but i'm not the only one who faces these problem... counter 1 2 and 3 also have many many names to give out and to search... just that they have more country with less people in them... i kinda feel that they are much lucky-er than me... haha
but in truth, our job is quite slack... cause only in the morning and noon time will people come and find us, in between, there are attending the workshops and we are free outside... but i must vent my anger at the people there who were sleeping on the job when we had nothing to do and STILL earning $6 an hour while me and arthur have been working our ass off the pass 3 weeks getting paid the same rate... haiz...
at least we get free lunch and morning and afternoon tea break in this period of time... free food is always good... but then i have come to not like or dislike the free food, eating so much for 5 days really makes it very dull after a while...
