on a different note, YAH... pass my fitness test...hahaha... silver... 8 pull-ups, 9.4s run, 265 jump, 47 reach, 63[67 really but 4 no count] sit ups and 12.13,min for 2.4...HAHAHAHAHA

31th march to 3rd April

The Monday was the ladies epee single event, ladies sabre single event and the men foil single event... i went down to support at 1 with QY, kian, kent, jess and a J1 girl whose i forgot her name... the ladies did very well, all of which made it into the top 8 placing... the sad thing is that sam and nov had to kill each other off at the match to enter semi-finals... we could not cheer for anyone as both are from CJC... in the end, sam made it into the semi-finals along with mao... sam lost in the semi-finals while mao made it into the finals with an impressive 5 underarm hits in a row... but sadly, we did not win gold in the match... but claimed the 3rd and 2nd placing...

The men foil was another event where we made it into the finals... nothing much to say but that i was a very very close match

Tuesday was men epee singles event, men sabre singles event and ladies foil single event... my round robin pool have john boon in it and i was damn sad cause i have never beaten him before... anyhow... i just have to beat everyone else to get a good placing in the DE... as said, i loss to john boon 4/5 but its alright cause the loss is quite small... i did beat every other fencer in my pool earning me a overall placing of 3rd...which means i sit the first DE round... it was smooth sailing into the top 8 for me...

i won my top 16 match just in time to watch Jason and the nat fencer from MJC match... i will have to fight the winner of that round... Jason was losing and the nat fencer was taunting him very badly... in the end, Jason loss... i went up next to fencer the nat fencer... i know that i and weaker than him in terms of experience as i only had 1 year of fencer experience... i just waited for him and try to take point off him... the first point was a double, i was very happy to score any point against him so i was cheering from myself, so was the CJC people watching... i scored a single point off him via a straight attack with the FSN mindset... haha... another double followed and then a single flick shot from him on my arm [the mark from that attack is still on my arm today] from then on i just scored single shots off him when he attacked... in the end, he pulled out of the match due to a fever... final score, 13/4

i was up against kian in the semi-finals... i have very little chance of winning him cause we have been fencing together since last year... in the end i loss together with my first blade broken when we clashed... i cried for that blade as it saw me through 2 competitions and this one... i fought very hard to take revenge for that blade for 2 point before feeling very tired and losing the match 8/15... kian went to beat the other MJC nat fencer and win the gold medal...

on the sabre side, i was not sure how it was but the finals was CJC vs CJC so yeah... foil we got silver after a very intense match...

wed was the team events that we got silver for men foil, ladies epee and ladies sabre... team matches were a round robin system[ which is very screwed up]... also, QY brought my a new blade to replace the one i broke on Tuesday... it was my belated birthday present... thats like the best thing ever... really really thank full for him for doing that...

Thursday was the final day and the team event for men epee and men sabre... round robin again and we were up against VJC first where we loss... the matches after we were winning... the best match was CJC vs MJC for their gold medal or our bronze... the first 4 matches were very close with us having a 2 point loss... when i went up against the nat fencer i won in the singles event, i brought the lead to a 2 point lead... every point i scored i was so happy that i jumped myself back to the starting line to start the next match... kian was up to maintain the lead and i was up against the last guy from their team... i brought the lead to a nice 4 or 5 point lead... Jason also scored a few nice hits against the other nat fencer... with a nice 7 point lead, kian went up to face off... we won in the end with a nice point at the 2 sec mark and won when the time ran out... we were all so happy than... yet, round robin is a very screwed up system when the team that won bronze beat the team that won gold... also, the matches were bit screwed up when the strongest member was losing points to the weakest member from the other team...

Sabre team we got a gold as well with a close 44/45 match against RJC...

that's most of what happened during the 4 days... now i have to really catch up on school work... lucky i done carboxyoic acid and PnC before hand... so not really late to hand up work for anything like that... BUT next week for 3 big test... math, econs and chem...WTF... AHHHHH...
