Well, trying to practice my econs and i came up with this idea
Y not write a essay on odex???
That's what i did....ya...

Using demand and supply analysis, how would you explain the falling sells of Odex products with the falling prices of the product.

Demand is defined as the quantity of a product that consumers are both willing and able to buy at each possible price during a given period of time, ceteris paribus. The laws of demand states that in a given time period, the quantity demanded of a product is inversely related to its price. Supply of a good refers to the amount of a good producers are willing and able to offer for sale at each possible price in a given time period, ceteris paribus. The quantity supplied is usually directly related to its price. If the laws of supply and demand apply, therefore the demand of Odex products should rise with the prices falling. But this is not the case as the demand for Odex products are falling along with the prices of the products. This is because the demand curve for Odex products is shifting to the left causing the equilibrium price to fall with falling demand.

The drop in demand is due to some factors. One of these factors is a change in consumer taste. In this age of quality, the consumer would like to get their hands on the product, in this case anime, with the best picture quality and accurate subtitles. What Odex has produced are of inferior quality to what can be found in the market, in this case downloading from the Internet. Because Odex cannot provide the consumers with their wanted goods, the consumers have gone somewhere else to get their goods. This leads to the demand curve of Odex products shifting to the left causing the equilibrium price to fall along with demand.

Also, the fall in demand can also be due to the improvement of technology allowing the consumer faster downloading speed and better picture and sound quality. As the Internet speeds reaching higher and higher every year, the consumers will find it easier and faster to download anime off the Internet as compared to waiting for Odex to release the product. This has lead to the drop in demand for Odex products causing the demand curve for Odex products to shift to the left causing the equilibrium price for their products to fall along with demand of their product.

The supply of Odex products have not changed therefore the supply curve of Odex products did not move. Thus the equilibrium price of Odex products is not changed.

The fall in demand along with the fall in price is due to the fall in demand as the demand curve shifts to the left and cause to price to drop.




Forgive me if it is very bad for an essay but heck, help rise anti-odex movement

It seems that funsub anime did reduce the sells of odex, but if you see it with opportunity cost it all makes senses...

Opportunity cost is define as the next best alternative forgone when a choice is made.

The next best alternative forgone when people choose funsub is odex(which is crap)
Likewise, next best alternative forgone when people chose odex will be
funsub anime(which is much much better)

Well, i brought the Hellsing comic a few days ago and it relighted the vampric self in me...hahahaha

Well, this caused me to go search youtube for the Hellsing OVA...(3 so far)
Let me tell you, watching them is so damn fun... i was laughing throughout the OVA
The OVA contain jokes and bloody fighting with the classic overpowered main charactors

I can't say i don't like Alucard but overall, his just overpowered....than kinda takes the fun out of the comic...casue he can't die...lol

This is another comic with blood flowing like water... the amount that is in one book can be compared to the first ep of elfen lied (go watch it, its...nice)

well, thats all for today....go get the comic....worth the money....

just watched ep 24 and 25 of code geass (one of the best anime now) today...
i must say, WHAT THE HELL IS WITH THE ENDING!!!!
no spoilers here so won't say much.....
but that ending means that many people will be waiting (again) for the upcoming movie
damn the producer...lol

just to say, my fave mech got its power arm chopped off...T.T

hmm....
